Turing Machine Tool

Turing Machine Tool is a tool for creating and debugging single tape deterministic turing machines.

Maarten de Vries and I made this tool to test our homework assignments for a course on computability theory.

It is a command line tool that simulates a turing machine. Use commands like left, right, read and write yourself, or add rules with rule and use them with step, run and trace. The full command set is included in the man page, which is also available online: Man page of TMT
